Komi-san fans can finally rejoice! Komi san Can’t Communicate (Komi-san wa Komyushou Desu) is getting a TV anime adaptation by OLM Studio.

OLM Studio is best known for animating many long-lasting shows such as Pokémon, Beyblade, Inazuma Eleven, and Youkai Watch. The anime will be based on the original manga created by Tomohito Oda.

Komi san Can’t Communicate is an anime about a girl named Shouko Komi (played by Aoi Koga, known for her work as Kaguya Shinomiya in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) attending her first year at the elite Itan Private High School. In the story, Komi gets immediately overwhelmed with the surge of popularity due to her unprecedented, stoic beauty and refined elegance.

However, Hitohito Tadano (played by Gakuto Kajiwara, known for his work as Asta in Black Clover and Shinra Kusakabe in Fire Force), is a total wallflower, and that’s just the way he likes it.
